The ‘Discovery’ features basically the same refined 2.7 litre, V6 turbo diesel engine that is used by Jaguar, producing 190bhp and 440Nm of Torque. This will accommodate up to seven adults in comfortable, full size seats with generous leg and shoulder room, as well as providing an elevated seating position from which to view the world in a way that you’d just never see in an average car. The interior features top quality soft leather on the seats, deep carpets, heated front and rear seats and fully automatic two-zone climate control. There is also Satellite Navigation, a quality sound system with 6-disc CD changer and the control dial for playing with the ‘Terrain Response’ settings. For added convenience when loading the rear luggage area, the tailgate now shares the trademark ‘Range Rover’ top and bottom half split, rather than the old style side opening door.
